So its Thursday and I've been home for about a week now. The Air Force did not see fit to keep me around, such is life. Have been just readjusting to the civilian world, went to dinner and a movie last night with Melissa. That was amazing, saw Pink Panther, which was funny...if you like making fun of silly French people and other such things. All in all, amazing night and an interesting week.

So this last week was awesome...saw the Family Guy movie, freaking hilarious, even though Melissa didn't like it. Umm, I joined the Air Force and am leaving in January...umm I learned I am terribly out of shape and need to get into shape...The push-ups after 11 weeks won't be a problem, sit-ups won't be a problem, but the running...the running will kill me where I stand...I literally almost died my first time out. So this week I am Head Cashier at work which is very exciting...as I'm sure you can all tell...I love Barnes and Noble so much I am joining the military to escape the tedium...despite the fact that I will probably be working there again when I come back because I am gonna need a job to pay for stuff while I am going to school on the government's money...woohoo. Umm, yeah Air Force intelligence applications division, so everybody better start calling me Airmen First Class Marotte or I'll cry. So you can all feel safer at night because when I come back from training in August you will all know that me, Timothy Robert Marotte, Hot Marotte, is protecting the skies and keeping the United States safe from terror or something like that...just wait till I join the FBI/CIA/DEA/NSA/DIA or some other asinine government acronym, then you can really sleep soundly.

So this past weekend has been crazy fun, birthday on Friday, went to the aquarium with Melissa, saw turtles, sharks, fish and all other sorts of aquatic beasts. Also went to Parker's Maple Barn for breakfast, enough food to take a good 5 years off my life in the end. I am no longer a head cashier at Barnes and Noble, they now have me working on the floor as a department lead...yippy skippy. Thats about it, mere words can not translate the fun had at the Aquarium and driving aimlessly around Boston, lost and waiting for the signs to point me in the right direction and point they did eventually. Oh well, peace out folks.

Lets see, had 4 days off from work, did a few things that were fun and exciting. Yesterday was loads of fun...went to Hampton with Melissa to see my favorite ex-co-worker in the whole world do a lovely performance with the Showstoppers, that was most exciting. And now I have to work 10 days in a row, so good bye fun and excitement. I hope everyone went to go pick up the new Harry Potter book, I know only a select few amazing people showed up Harry Potter night, and they all made the night enjoyable for me...and yes, for anyone who hasn't seen me, my hair is blond...I was Draco Malfoy, and it was crazy fun. Especially that duel I got into with Ron Weasley after I spotted Ron, Harry, and Ginny harassing Elizabeth and Eric...good acting jobs, however, very frightening.

Wednesday-Nothing Thursday-Iparty for a quick visit with Melissa Friday-Journal entry documenting past week in fast motion without lengthy bullshit, HOPEFULLY something fun tonight, but weather is fucking it up Saturday-Victoria Fletcher's Greeley Park BBQ, *note to self* buy meat.
So next week should be interesting, who knows whats gonna go down...I've got no plans as of yet except EVERYONE better show up to get their copy of Harry Potter on the 15th at midnight, because my ass is gonna be working and seeing a familiar face or twelve wouldn't hurt...come on guys... Susan Melissa LETS MAKE THE LIST GROW!

One night a guy & a girl were driving home from the movies. The boy sensed there was something wrong because of the painful silence they shared between them that night. The girl then asked the boy to pull over because she wanted to talk. She told him that her feelings had changed & that it was time to move on. A silent tear slid down his cheek as he slowly reached into his pocket & passed her a folded note. At that moment, a drunk driver was speeding down that very same street. He swerved right into the drivers seat, killing the boy. Miraculously, the girl survived. Remembering the note, she pulled it out & read it. "Without your love, I would die."

Last week, did really a whole lot of nothing, went to pick up my super awesome Timon and Puumba plate from Time to Clay and saw House of Wax with Melissa.
So lets see, been one hell of a week thus far. Monday, didn't realize I was opening so I was 2.5 hours late for work...awesome yo. Yesterday was probably the best day of the week yet, while walking through the amazing Barnes and Noble cafe, home to millions of students on college break, I just happened to cross paths with the 2 I was hoping I would see. All the good old memories came flooding back and it felt good seeing familiar faces, especially faces that have always been able to lighten my mood and make me feel good, so I thank you. Other than that, I have plans on Friday, don't know what yet. And I am in the process of trying to save money for my vehicular transportation.

So lets see...life has been crazy since my last actual update, and I have far too much to stuff into a livejournal entry. Recently, however, I have done very little but work...saw the Notebook on Friday...good movie, good times, good stuff. Things are finally getting better in my life, have my license back again, even though my car is gone and I need a new one. So on Friday, before the Notebook, I went to Time to Clay and painted a plate with Timon and Pumba on it, it came out terrible, but we'll see a finished product in 1 week...I'm mucho excited. Still working at B&N despite my greater sensibilities, its crap...and no Tiffer makes me a little sad...hopefully I can find a new job soon so I actually can save money...this last year that was designed to save for college has been riddled with speeding fines, cars breaking down, and lots of other money sinks so I am upset. And to those of you out there in LJ land, yes I am alive, and Kelly I want my FUCKING FAMILY GUY!

So a kid is out back digging a big hole in his yard. The neighbor lady sees this and pokes her head over the fence, "Hey Johnny, what you digging that hole for?". Young Johnny replies, "My goldish died and I am giving it a funeral." Well the neighbor lady thought this was cute, so she decided to keep talking about it and said, "Well Johnny, why are you digging such a big hole for such a little fish?", Johnny then replied, "Because ma'am, my fish is stuck in your big, stupid cat."

So hows life?? Lets see...yeah...not a story I'd like to tell there. So went to see Polar Express yesterday, wicked good movie, love the roadhouse too...good salad. Working a lot these days, still the same old schedule, but I get Friday and Saturday nights off plus Sundays off, which is good. Haven't done much of anything lately, still working on the whole suing for the car situation, which sucks ass, the only time I can do anything is on Fridays when I can borrow a car. But yeah, I was bored so I updated...I recommend going to see Polar Express, great animation, great acting, funny stuff, I liked it...

So lets see, the week has sucked a lot, a whole lot actually. Things are going alright at B&N and I'm starting back at Bob's again tomorrow, maybe. So Friday night at B&N was fun, I like the Friday night closing crowd, minus Vicky, but for some reason trouble follows me. Saturday I went into B&N to talk to Stephanie about going to the game with her last night and on the way to Bob's to check out my schedule for the week my car died, probably overheated and shit but whatever...got escorted to Bob's by a police officer, in the back of his cruiser, because its the only place I know where I could get a car to get back to my predicament. After a call to the state trooper's office I end up staying around Bob's helping with stuff and getting things done, then I eventually ended up staying till 4:30, and only left at that point because Kathie is a fucking whore who yelled at me about me being on the service desk...fucking asshole. So I borrowed Naomi's car, which I should tell everyone she is just plain amazing for letting me do it, and drove to B&N, saw Steakhouse, got harassed by Vicky and the cafe girls about my night out, Stephanie showed up, got harassed and then we both left to go watch the game at Chunky's, which was a very emotional place, let me tell ya, almost full to capacity too, it was bad. Game got out around midnight, she drove me home and talked about why shes seems so familiar, and its weird because nothing she mentioned would prove to me that I have ever even seen her before, and she says I look familiar too, its really weird and its going to upset me greatly. Went to check out my car today with Barry, the guy who sold it to me, and we drain the oil, replaced the spark plugs, did all sorts of shit under the hood, and it turns out there is something severly fucked up in my ride. My antifreeze is leaking out my oil pan, which sucks a WHOLE lot, because it could be a cracked engine block or a blown head gasket, any of the problems it could be are not my fault, but they would be the fault of the garage that rebuilt the engine block so Barry is going to call them and I am going to see what I can do about it, if its a head gasket, engine block, seals, rings, any of that shit it will be fixed free if I have my damn say in the matter. But overall this week has sucked for a lot of reasons, the other half of which I won't get into here, and the few reprieves I've had were at Chunky's and when I was talking to a very good friend at Bob's who gave me some good advice that I needed to hear from someone else, because listening to myself just wasn't doing it. So thank you for that, and thank you Susan for the ride to my car, made life a lot easier. Now to call Scott and see if I can do anything about my car...

For my feelings on the Red Sox I will direct you all to sportzmaniac7 take what he says, minus stupid names like Mr. Clutch, flamethrowers, and actually...I like caveman and you'll sum it up. Jeffrey Beals just writes with a journalistic flare I never could achieve...

So an update on life...new job at Barne's and Noble kicks ass. Head Cashier stuff is fun, and I picked up really quick, its all getting to my head though, all the praise and clapping I get, they really needed a Head Cashier to complete the team I guess. So I get a nice big discount, 50% in the cafe and 30% on books. Lots of old people there though, a few people around my age, but not that many...does anyone know a girl named Stephanie Gibson by the way? Graduated Hollis-Brookline last year and looks familiar and I can't figure out why and its driving me nuts...whatever. Other than that life is nothing special, much less actually, but whatever. Red Sox-Yankees series, lets have some nine inning games and get them over quick...

So this weekend has been fun, Friday went to the football game with Jimmy, that was fun. Saw Tarah there, saw Betty and Cassie, Sam Rutigliano, and a few other people. Rented a couple movies, The Run Down wasn't bad, even though the DVD itself is screwed up, also rented Bubba Ho-Tep because I need to watch it because I can't stand all the talk that I've heard without finishing the movie. Didn't do much of anything today, but things are a little weird for me...I've had a lot of trouble figuring things out lately, and I can't find the courage to talk it out, its exciting.
